Funeral services for Ruby Diamond Skillern, age 94 of Waynesboro,TN will be on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 1:00 pm Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro with Marvin Champion officiating. Interment following in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Saturday February 11, from 10:30 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro
Ruby Diamond Skillern a native of Cloverdale, Ala. died on Thursday February 9, 2006 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro. She was born on November 17, 1911 to the late William H. and Lennie Hanback Weaver. Mrs. Skillern was preceded in death by her husband; Paul W. Skillern, Sr and son; Paul W. Skillern, Jr.
Mrs. Ruby was a retired Elementary School teacher ; member of Retired Teachers Association and Coleman Methodist Church, Lawrenceburg, TN
Survivors; daughter in law; Freeda Skillern of Port Orange, Fl
Grandchildren; Steve Skillern of Atlanta; Sean Skillern of Lakeland, Fl; Sandy Brunick of Port Orange, Fl and Scott Skillern of Sierra Vista, AZ
