Ruby Prince departed this life at Savannah Healthcare Nursing Home on May 26, 2015 at the age of 94 years. 1 month, and 9 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 17, 1921, daughter to the late Tony and Lizzie Mae Kelly Crotts.
She was united in marriage to Stanford Prince who preceded her in death on June 3, 2003.
Ruby lived in Hardin County all of her life. She was employed as a trimmer at the Brown Shoe Company for 40 years. She was also a member of Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Ruby enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and planting trees; anything she could possibly do outdoors she enjoyed. She also liked to travel.
Mrs. Prince is survived by her daughter, Janice P. Matlock of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kelly Hobbs and Kenneth Matlock; and great-grandchild, Kendra Matlock.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Trellace Barham; and one brother, Guy Crotts.
