Ruby Pearl Hickman

Ruby Pearl Smith Hickman was born August 29, 1928 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late William and Mary Susan Russell Smith.She was united in marriage to Landoff Hickman on December 20, 1945. Mr. Hickman preceded her in death on April 26, 2011.Ruby was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and also attended Fourth Street Church of Christ on occasion. Ruby loved to travel with her late husband, cooking and canning, and spending time with her family.She departed this life on March 30, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 7 Months, 1 Day.Mrs. Hickman is survived by two daughters, Linda Hickman Russell, Betty Powell and husband Tom all of Selmer, TN; two sons, Tony Hickman, Randy Hickman and wife Lisa all of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Georgia Williams of Selmer, TN, Mildred Boyd of Tupelo, MS; a brother, James W. Smith Sr. of Selmer, TN; 10 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; an honorary family member, Billy Morris; and a host of neices and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hickman was preceded in death by five sisters, Billie Jo Smith, Cletus Cooper, Nancy Surratt, Gladys Sewell, and Irene Frye.
