Mrs. Ruby Dell Dyer, age 74 of Middleton, Tennessee, passed from this life Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Dyer was born Sunday, April 13, 1941 to the late Silas Wesley and Era B. Hart Redmond. In 1981, she was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Monroe Dyer, Sr., who preceded her in death November 24, 2013. She lived in Memphs for over 30 years prior to moving to the Hardeman County area. She worked at Maxwell's Big Star for several years as a cashier. She was Baptist in belief and attended Porter's Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Curd of Middleton; stepdaughters, Janet Small and husband Steve of McAlister, Oklahoma, and Dianna Hardy and husband Bill of Olive Branch, Mississippi; stepson, Charles M. Dyer, Jr. of Byhalia, Mississippi; sister, Carolyn Crowder of Jackson; brother, Jimmy Redmond of Bells; and granddaughter, Rachel Curd of Middleton.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Curd; first husband, Jim Curd; twin daughters, Linda and Lisa Curd; and sisters, Pansy Sherrod and Beauton Lowery.
