With the end of the war Warrington returned to Flint to meet his 3 year old son for the first time, and became employed by Fisher Body Company, where he worked until 1974 as a maintenance welder. Ruby was employed after the war by Ottawa River Paper Company (later Mead Containers). Their 3 younger children were born in Flint. After Warringtson's retirement in 1974, they returned to their beloved Tennessee where they enjoyed their life together until Warrington's passing in 1991. Ruby stayed busy until her passing with her family, her flowers, her birds, and her quilt making. A good Christian, she was a life long member of Scott's Chapel in Cypress Inn and a member of State Line Church. Ruby was wife, mother, grandma, and a friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
