Rubel Fletcher Whitaker

Rubel Fletcher Whitaker was born May 5, 1925 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Joseph Fletcher and Lou Minte Hubanks Whitaker.He was united in marriage to Ruby Whitaker who preceded him in death on November 10, 1990.Mr. Whitaker was and edge trimmer for Brown Shoe Company in Selmer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a Korean War veteran, serving from 1951 to 1953.He departed this life on April 10, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 11 Months, 5 Days.Mr. Whitaker is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hubanks of Adamsville, Tennessee; a sister, Lucille Hollomon of Selmer, Tennessee; 1 Grandchild and 1 Great Grandchild.
