Rozell Lumpkin

Rozell Lumpkin was born January 27, 1935 in Bethel Springs, TN the daughter of the late Raymond Gilsey and Emma Lou Hurst Meeks.

She was united in marriage to Robert Lewis Lumpkin on October 14, 1954. Mr. Lumpkin preceded her in death on June 13, 2003.

Mrs. Lumpkin was a supervisor for Levi Strauss in Centerville and Ramer for 20 years. She enjoyed her flowers and spending time with her grandsons. She was an active member of the Selmer Primitive Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

Mrs. Lumpkin departed this life on April 1, 2016 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 2 Months, 5 Days. She is survived by a son, Dennis Wayne Lumpkin of Ramer, TN; a daughter, April Denise Lee and husband Michael of Ramer, TN; two grandsons, Robert Peyton Lee and Michael Braxton Lee; a brother, Raymond Gilsey Meeks Jr. and wife Mary of Phoenix, AZ; and a host of family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lumpkin was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Meeks; a sister, Annie Sue Hopper.
