Roy Dale Miller

Roy Dale Miller of Lawrenceburg, TN , formerly of Collinwood, TN, was born November 13, 1953 in Florence, AL, the son of the late Sam and Walsie Marie Morgan Miller. He was united in marriage to the former Janice Davline Daniel on June 22, 1974.

Mr. Miller was a retired foreman with Murray Ohio Manufacturing and had worked with Sharp Transport and Verplank. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Collinwood, Tennessee, Masonic Lodge # 702, Collinwood, TN and Lawrence County Classic Car Club.

He enjoyed old, antique cars, cruising, spending time at the river and recently taken up fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Davline Daniel Miller and daughters, Selina Moore, husband, Adam and Sabrina Wisdom, husband, Chase and grandchildren, Bradyn and Emmalyn Moore and Cooper and Kinley Wisdom all of Lawrenceburg, TN; brother, Larry E. Miller, sister, Marie Berry, husband, Jerry and sister-in-law, Sherry Cummins all of Collinwood, TN and his pet dog, Sissy.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Cummins and sister-in-law, Kathryn Miller.

Services will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Brad Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation will be Monday, November 22, 2021 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Clayton, Robert Brewer, Carl Wisdom, Thomas Wisdom, Reg Holt and Rex McMasters with Jerry Thrasher and Wesley Morgan serving as honorary pallbearers.
