Roy Lee McDaniel

Roy Lee McDaniel passed into the loving arms of Jesus on April 26, 2025, at home. He was born August 5, 1954, in Selmer, TN, to Estle Lee and Sarah Gazelle Hurst McDaniel. He married his high school sweetheart, Anna Cummings McDaniel, on January 24, 1973.

Roy was a graduate of McNairy Central High School (Class of 1973). He retired after working over 40 years on injection mold machinery.

Roy was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for his love of family, Chevy Novas, working on cars, playing pool, John Fogerty's music, and his Pickwick Catfish Farm family.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 52 years, Anna Cummings McDaniel; two daughters, Jodi Stewart (William) and Courtney Coyle (Devin Kee); three sisters: Nola Smith, Dorothy Stout, and Mary Whitten; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Waynon Lee and Raymond Lee McDaniel; and one sister, Doris Jene Morris.
