Roy C. Gorman

Roy C. Gorman of Bethel Springs, Tennessee was born on August 18, 1929 in Corinth, Mississippi, son of the late Eddie M. Gorman and Ethel Mae Baker Gorman.He was united in marriage to Berneece Russom on June 29, 1957. Mr. Gorman was retired supervisor for the Shelby County, TN Road Department.He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer and a U. S. Army Veteran. He departed this life on Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 80 years, 6 Months, and 10 Days.Survivors are his wife Berneece Gorman of Bethel Springs; a son, Larry Gorman of Portland, Oregon; a sister, Dorothy Hager of Germantown, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Rebecca Clark and Matthew Biggs of Memphis and Heather Gorman and Laura Gorman of Portland, Oregon. A host of other relatives and friends.Other than his parents, Mr. Gorman was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Lynn Biggs on April 10, 2009.
