ROY CASTEEL
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 14, 1923 the son of the late Doss and Madge Bennett Casteel.
On July 5, 1942 he was united in marriage to the former Annie Marie Rose, who preceded her husband in death on June 19, 1994.
Mr. Casteel was a timber cutter and a farmer.
He departed this life on December 2, 2006 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 18 days.
Mr. Casteel is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Bingham and Sue White, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
2 sons, Dwight Casteel and Roy Lynn Casteel, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren
One brother, Jammy Casteel of Savannah, Tennessee
Mr. Casteel was also preceded in death by one son, R. D. Casteel, 3 brothers, Lois, Harold and Wheeler Casteel, 2 sisters, Inez Bennett and Elizabeth Tidwell, one grandchild, Greg Hardin and one great-grandchild, Trey Harrison.
