ROY CALLAHAN
Finger, TN: Roy Houston Callahan age 72 passed away December 15, 2015 at his home.
He was born December 10, 1943 in Birmingham, AL the son of the late Houston and Leora Callahan. He attended school in Somerville, TN. He married Peggy Hurst and they made their home in Chester County most of their married life. He worked as an electrician most of his adult life.
Mr. Callahan is survived by his wife, Peggy Hurst Callahan of Finger, two sons, Patrick Callahan of Beech Bluff and Daniel Callahan and his wife Kelly of Henderson and two daughters, Tammy Provience of Houston, TX and Tonya Vandiver and husband Mark of Henderson; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Brother Ken Kitchen officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford – Casey Chapel from 5:00 PM Wednesday until 9:00 PM.
