Roy Junior Baker, 57, of Bolivar, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at his home.
The husband of Joyce Baker, who survives, he was an auto body repairman at Blackard’s Body Shop. Mr. Baker was born April 6, 1948 in Hardeman County, son of the late Roy Oneal Baker and Dessie Evelyn Grantham Baker. He lived here all of his life and attended Woodville Baptist Church.
Services were 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Roger Hatch officiating. Burial was in the McKee Family Cemetery near Middleton.
In addition to his wife, whom he married June 4, 2004, survivors include one daughter and one son, Kristy Howell and Mark Baker, both of Bolivar; three sisters, Ruby Baker of Adamsville, Cathy Stack of Saltillo and Mary Foster of Chewalla; three brothers, Tommy Baker of Bolivar, Jimmy Baker of Middleton and Mack Baker of Selmer. He was preceded in death by one brother, J. W. Baker.
