Rosie Gray

Rosie Gray was born on August 4, 1954 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Watt Miller and Marie Melson Shubert.

On March 30, 1991, she was united in marriage to Wayne Gray, who preceded his wife in death on October 8, 1992.

Rosie worked at various garment factories as a machine operator. She enjoyed sewing, canning, going to thrift stores, and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Rosie loved to spend time with her family.

Rosie Gray departed this life on March 1, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 6 months, and 25 days.

She is survived by her daughters, Nona Wesson of Franklin, Tennessee and Norma Williams of Lexington, Tennessee; brother, Arthur Miller and his wife Debbie of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Dianne Bays of North Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Fallon Crotts and her husband Jackie, Alicia Wesson, and Robert Wesson and his wife Jamie; and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rosie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kirsten Leigh White; brothers, Jerry Miller, Earl Miller, Alton Lee Miller, and Lonnie Miller; sister, Joan Ayers; and an infant sister.
