Rosalene Knipper
Henderson, TN: Rosalene Knipper age 90, passed away September 15th at her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born June 13, 1932 at Woodville in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Otis Henry and Ophia Myrtle (Hatch) Hill. She met her life-long love, William Curtis Knipper, at the age of 17. They were married shortly after in Corinth, MS on October 1, 1950. They settled down and started their family in the Deanburg Community in Chester County, TN. She began worked in the Restaurant Business at Hornsby and at Toone,; Pinson Tree Nursery and in housekeeping at Jackson General Hospital.
She was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church.
She was survived by her two sons Joe Knipper (Cindy Harrison) of Florence, AL and Mark Knipper (Angie) of Henderson,TN; five grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd and James Hill both of Heber Springs, AR; sisters, Bernice Dellingham of Bolivar, TN, Nanie Faye Williams of Memphis, TN, Betty Jo Mantely of Ripley, MS, Frances Kocher of Frenceyburg, OH. Judy McCage of Sommerville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Mary Alice Mosier, Elsie Lousie Rutherford; two brothers Wilford and Ogene Hill..
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 19 Shackleford Funeral Directors- Crook Avenue Chapel with Deacon Bob Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue Chapel on Monday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
