Ronnie Walker Davidson was born August 16, 1941 in Paris, TN, the son of the late Walker and Hinda Henderson Davidson.
Bro Ronnie received his license in ministry on August 21, 1960 and was ordained on September 22, 1963. He was united in marriage to Velma Jeanenne Buie on January 8, 1966. Mrs. Davidson preceded him in death on June 16, 2022.
He received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from Union University on August 15, 1965 and later a Doctorate of Ministry in January of 2013 from Andersonville Theological Seminary. Ministry and family was his life, serving churches at Temple Baptist, Walnut Hill Baptist, Henry Baptist, Parksburg Baptist, Calvary Baptist, First Baptist in Grand Junction, Enville Baptist and serving as Director of Mission for Shiloh Association until 2017. He had just retired from Enville Baptist Church on November 6, 2022 after 62 years of Ministry.
Not only did he enjoy mission work and preaching the Gospel, Ronnie also enjoyed playing golf, wood working, going to the mountains, and spending time with family.
Mr. Davidson departed this life on November 24, 2022 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 3 Months, 8 Days.
He is survived by three daughters: Rita Michelle Thompson and husband Wilmer of Arlington, TN, Theresa Renae White and husband Oscar of Adamsville, TN, Charlotte Jeanenne Meyer of Munster, IN; a brother, Tommy Davidson and wife Norma of Paris, TN; eight grandchildren: Raven Nichole White of Adamsville, TN, Orrin Trevor White and wife Sierra of Adamsville, TN, Taylor Ray Thompson and wife Sara of Saulsbury, TN, Hannah Grace White of Oxford, MS, Scott Lee Meyer and wife Monica, Matthew Dalton Meyer of Grand Junction, TN, Andrew Charles Thompson of Arlington, TN, Madison Brooke Thompson of Arlington, TN; two great grandchildren, Tucker Nolan Thompson of Saulsbury, TN, Amelia Jean White of Adamsville, TN; son-in-law, Timothy Lee Meyer of Saulsbury, TN; niece, Mary Buie Dye and nephew, Charlie Buie both of Paris, TN; cousins, Lavelle and Bill Davidson.
