Ronald Edward Staggs

Ronald Edward Staggs of Waynesboro, TN was born April 3, 1960 in Loretto, TN, the son of Doris Elaine Rumbaugh Staggs Bogle of Waynesboro, TN, who survives and the late Edward (Flukey) Lewis Staggs.

Mr. Staggs was a retired Methodist minister, a land surveyor, a member of the United Methodist Church and a member of the Wayne County Historical Society. He had worked as a social worker with the State of Tennessee and departed this life on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his home at the age of 58 Years, 2 Months, 4 Days.

Other than his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Adrienne Caress Staggs of Culleoka, TN; a grandson, Huston Tripp Hughes; a sister, Rita Staggs Shipley and husband, Dale; nieces and nephew.

In addition to his father, Mr. Staggs was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Lewis Staggs.

Services will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bro. Ray Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Bud Stults, Mark Hughes, Jimmy Basham, Brad Wayland, Joey Butler and Dale Shipley.

Visitation will be Monday, June 11, 2018 from 1 pm to service time at the funeral home.
