Ronald C. Poston was born on December 18, 1946 in Paragould, Arkansas, the son of the late William Alvin and Ruby Jean Eaker Poston.
On December 19, 2003, he was united in marriage to Bernice J. McCoy, who survives.
Ronald retired from Savannah Industrial Solutions where he worked as a carpenter for 14 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 97 and served as treasurer of Legion Riders Club. He enjoyed going fishing, riding motorcycles, hunting squirrels and deer, building campfires, and going camping. Ronald loved his children and grandchildren very much.
Ronald C. Poston departed this life on February 4, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 17 days.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice J. Poston of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Ronald L. Poston and his wife Margie of Grayling, Michigan, Daniel Poston and his wife Sheila of Sanford, Michigan, and Ryan Ritchings and his wife Chelsie of Holly, Michigan; daughter, Melissa Foster and her husband Steve of Grand Blanc, Michigan; brothers, Donald Poston and Michael Poston, both of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyanne, Adam, Dillon, Jacqueline, Danica, Skye, Cole, Porter, Branden, Blake, Julia, Brian, and Samantha; and 4 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Adam Poston; brother, Larry Poston; and sister, Rita George.
On December 19, 2003, he was united in marriage to Bernice J. McCoy, who survives.
