Ronald Gene (Ron) Odle was born August 16, 1940 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of the late Floyd Randolph and Lela Riley Odle.
Mr. Odle was a former realestate agent, insurance agent, and loan officer. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was honorable discharged from the United States Navy.
Mr. Odle departed this life on August 4, 2008 in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 11 Months, 19 Days.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Caleb Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Odle was preceded in death by a brother, L. C. Odle and sisters, Jeanette Collie and Estelle Dale.
He is survived by daughters, Kim McFall and husband, Ronald and Kelly Greer and husband, Mark; granddaughters, Ragan Greer, Chelsea McFall, Amelia McFall, and Gretchen Greer, all of Collinwood, TN; sister, Sue Patton and husband, Jimmy, Lexintgon, TN; step-brother, Ted Reaves, Florence, AL; his former wife and mother of his children, Gail Gallaher Odle, Collinwood, TN; and nieces and nephews.
