Ronald Eugene Lowery

Services for Ronald Eugene Lowery of Collinwood will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood. Burial with military honors will follow in Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Tony Lowery, Shoan Lowery, Brian Lowery, Seth Lowery, Adam Lowery, and Randy Boutwell; honorary pallbearers are T.J. Smith and Matt Boutwell.
Mr. Lowery was born July 30, 1946 in Sheffield, AL the son of Helen Margaret Tidwell Lowery Whitlock and the late James Wesley Lowery. In addition to his father, Mr. Lowery was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lee Lowery; two sisters, Carol Heins and Shelia Yingling, and father in law, Robert Tilley.
He died at his home in Collinwood, Monday, January 28, 2013 at the age of 66 Years, 5 Months, 29 Days.
Mr. Lowery, a U.S. Army veteran, served in Viet-Nam where he received several service medals. After leaving the military, he was a car dealer and was a member of Christ Centered New Covenant Church in Summertown.
He is survived by his wife Robbie Tilley Lowery of Collinwood, TN;
four sons, Kenneth Eugene Lowery and his wife Pebbles of Longview, WA, Anthony Wayne Lowery and his wife Jeanine of Collinwood, TN, Shoan Lee Lowery and his wife Mary All of Madison, AL,and Brian Keith Lowery of Collinwood, TN; a daughter, Tonya Reena Lowery of Collinwood, TN;
6 grandchildren, Michael Seth Lowery, Brittany Lowery, Nolan Lowery, Brianna Mae Lowery, Lavea Grace Lowery, and Jaylin Gibson; 2 step-grandchildren, Tasha Clemmons and Christopher Greenhill; 1 great-grandchild, Jacylynn Annagail Luna; 4 step-great-grandchildren, Cameron Clemmons, Zachary Clemmons, Olivia Greenhill, and Landry Greenhill; his mother, Helen Margaret Lowery Whitlock of Lawrenceburg, TN, and a brother, John Wesley Lowery and his wife Sandra of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
