Ronald Fay Brewer

Ronald Fay Brewer of Iron City, TN was born August 14, 1940 in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late Elvie Clovis and Lavenia Lucille Stults Brewer. He was united in marriage to Martha Maye Roberson on August 31, 1963. Mr. Brewer was a carpenter, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Burns Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee. Mr. Brewer departed this life on Friday, October 25, 2013 at his home at the age of 73 Years, 2 Months, 11 Days. He is survived by his wife, Maye Roberson Brewer of Iron City, TN; brothers, Donald Ray Brewer, William David Brewer, and Randall Lee Brewer all of Iron City, TN, and Clovis Edwin Brewer of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Dorothy Throgmorton of Collinwood, TN, Thelma Holt of Florence, AL, Elgenia Kelley of Waynesboro, TN, Carolyn Phillips of Iron City, TN; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Edward Burbank and Tim Hanback officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Danny Roberson, Don Hale, James Putman, Stephen Putman, J. C. Daniel, and Kenneth Thompson. Visitation will be Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 1 pm until service time at the funeral home.
