Roger Allen McMahan

Roger Allen McMahan was born February 23, 1948 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late John Thomas and Aline Baker McMahan.He was united in marriage to Patricia Holt on August 2, 1975. Mrs. McMahan preceded him in death on December 25, 2008.Mr. McMahan worked in the stock room for 32 years at General Electric in Selmer, TN. He was a member of the Locke Road Baptist Church, and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his spare time, he enjoyed coon hunting and many other outdoor sports. Mr. McMahan departed this life on May 2, 2009 in Pocahontas, Tennessee at the age of 61 Years, 2 Months, 9 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Amanda McCullar and husband Stanley, Jr. of Pocahontas, TN; a son, Gregory McMahan of Pocahontas, TN; a sister, Lura (McMahan) Frank of Pocahontas, TN; four brothers: Horace McMahan of Bethel Springs, TN, Willard McMahan of Pocahontas, TN, Lawrence McMahan of Memphis, TN, and Aaron McMahan of Booneville, MS; and two grandchildren: Leslie Brooke (Sophie) McCullar and Houston Allen McCullar. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. McMahan was preceded in death by two brothers: Ernest McMahan and Travis McMahan.
