Roger Curtis Leitschuh was born on August 25, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi to the late Alford Willis and Ethel Estelle Pierce Leitschuh. He was the Founder and Stockholder of L & L Mechanical Contractors, Inc. and an Engineer with Aqua Glass Corporation in Adamsville. He was united in marriage to Martha Sauls on June 24, 1956. Roger was a member of Adamsville First United Methodist Church. In his younger years he was involved with the Masons, Tennessee Jaycees, and various Democrat candidate campaigns. Being very competitive, he became an avid Duplicate Bridge Player. In his earlier years he loved to hunt and fish, but he enjoyed nothing better than having his family around him, all the way from his siblings through his great-grandchildren. Roger departed this life on Friday, April 16, 2010 in Adamsville at the age of 75 Years, 7 Months, 22 Days.
Survivors are his wife of nearly 54 years, Martha Sauls Leitschuh of Adamsville; three daughters, Beth Thompson and husband Johnny of Adamsville, TN, Maia Broyles and husband Rick of Saulsbury, TN, Lori Shelton and husband James of Adamsville, TN; a son, Roger (Chip) Leitschuh Jr. and wife Wendy of Magnolia, TX; three sisters, Rena Wilburn and husband Tom of Michigan City, MS, Martha Leitschuh Stewart and husband Jimmy of Franklin, TN, Edith Leitschuh and Ray Phillips of Memphis, TN, two brothers, Willis Leitschuh of Crump, TN, Jerry Leitschuh and wife Cathy of Bolivar, TN; ten grandchildren, Dionn Milligan, Keesha Klinck, Martha Roberts, Grace Leitschuh, Raychel Leitschuh, Aaron Broyles, Erik Broyles, Sarah Broyles, Emily Broyles, Shiloh Shelton; three step-grandchildren, Alan Thompson, Greta Austin, Brad Thompson; five great-grandchildren, Curtis, Chip, and Tommy Jack Milligan, and Kobe and Aubrey Klinck; three step great-grandchildren, Ashley and McKinley Thompson and Garrick Smith; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Leitschuh of Adamsville, Virginia Leitschuh of Savannah, TN. A host of other relatives and friends. Other than his parents Roger was also preceded in death by three brothers, Travis A. Leitschuh, Leon Leitschuh, and Dickey Leitschuh.
