Roger Dale Hill

Memorial services for Roger Dale Hill, Sr. will be held on November 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Bobbie Martin officiating. At his request his remaims were cremated.Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.Roger was born June 18, 1956 in Ypsilanti, MI the son of the late Virgil Lee Hill and Martha Lorene Stults Hill. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon, James, and Marshall Hill; three sisters, Nadine Fredenburg, Mattie Thompson, and Juanita Hill. Mr. Hill died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 56 Years, 4 Months, 24 Days. Roger had been disabled for the past several years, although he formerly had worked on oil riggs and worked in the timber industry.He is survived by two sons, Roger Dale Hill Jr. and Joseph Lee Hill both of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Mattie Lynette Hill of Huntsville, AL, and Mistie Stephenson of Lawrenceburg, TN; 10 grandchildren;a brother, John E. Hill of Lawrenceburg, TN and a sister, Mary Sue Hintz of Southfield, Michigan; several nieces and nephews.
