Robin Watson, 60, of Bolivar, departed this life Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Bolivar General Hospital.

The wife of Lawrence Watson, Jr., who survives, she was a truck driver for 12 years and also worked at Whiteville Correctional Center as a correctional officer, at the Bulletin-Times for several years and at Quinco. She was born Thursday, October 19, 1961, in Jackson, daughter of the late Rene Adrian Browett and Sue Harbin Hodge, who survives, and lived in Florida for a few years prior to moving back here about 20 years ago. She was a 1980 graduate of Bolivar Central High School and enjoyed fishing, singing, watching movies with her husband, painting and being outside, but received her greatest fulfillment from being around her family, whom she dearly loved. Mrs. Watson was a Christian in faith and was affiliated with Hatchie Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Watson, Jr., whom she married on November 16, 2012; two sons, Jonathan Edward Hodge of Nashville and Jeremy Lynn Maness (Cindy) of Glen, MS; her mother, Sue Hodge (Billy) of Hornsby; three sisters, Gail Marcum (Keith) of Bolivar, Beverly McLemore (Dennis) of Jackson and Lee Brown (Ron) of Hornsby; two brothers , John Hodge (Jennifer) of Deanburg and Tony Hodge (Becky) of Middleton; two grandchildren, Scotty & Jana Maness of Glen, MS; numerous nieces and nephews; her best friend, Jackie Mills of Bolivar; two daughters, Shelly Lynn Watson of Memphis and Tonya Louise Watson of Somerville; sons, Shaun Edward Watson of Haywood Co., TN, and Walter Matthew Burst (Summer) of Brownsville; and grandchildren, Jaime Lynn Curtis of Bolivar, Megan Danielle Curtis of Mountain City, TN, Brianna Nicole Cook and John Lawrence Cook, both of Somerville; and her 'fur babies', Gypsy Marie, Chase, Misty Nicole and Zena. She was preceded in death by her father, Rene Adrian Browett; a step brother, Billy Joe Hodge, Jr.; a nephew, Jacob Dowty; and her grandparents, Johnny & Remer Harbin and Joe and Grace Hodge.
