Robin Lynn Hancock Boyd

Robin Lynn Hancock Boyd of Waynesboro was born September 17, 1956 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of the late Ross Eugene and Valerie Lanell Plunkett Hancock. Mrs. Boyd died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 57 Years, 11 Months, 13 Days. Robin was a corrections officer at Corrections Corporation of America and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro, IL. She was married to Jessie Boyd May 5, 1988.

She is survived by her husband Jessie Boyd of Waynesboro, TN, a son, Floyd Lang and wife Gloria of Clifton, TN, six grandchildren, Angelo Deltedesco Jr., Chrissie Teague, Jessica Deltedesco, Michael Lang, Gabriel Lang, and Dylan Lang, three great grandchildren, Angelo Deltedesco III, Gavin Teague, and Conner Teague, three brothers, Ronald Hancock of Coffeen, IL, Russell Hancock of Peoria, IL, and Ross Dean Hancock of Coffeen, IL, two sisters, Susan Friesland of Taylor Springs, IL and Ronita Rufus of Hillsboro, IL, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on September 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Old Union Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Harold Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Steele Cemetery near Clifton with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
