Robert Young was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 27, 1947 the son of the late Almon and Grace Neill Young.
Robert worked the production line for Brown Shoe Company. In his spare time he enjoyed playing dominoes, deer hunting, and going on nature walks.
He departed this life on Thursday, July 28, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 1 day.
Robert is survived by his children, Tammy Murphy and her husband Danny of Savannah, Tennessee, Robert Lee Young, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Crump, Tennessee, and Ryan Patrick Young of Savannah, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and sisters, Cleathia Finley of Savannah, Tennessee and Vickie Neill of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Randle, Archie, and Ned Young.
