Robert Earl Wilbanks was born February 13, 1952 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Everett Lee and Virginia Younger Wilbanks.
Mr. Wilbanks attended school in Michie, TN and graduated from Pickwick Southside High School in Counce, TN. He worked for Brown Shoe Company in Selmer as a machine operator, then spent 25 years with G. E. Monogram as a delivery driver. Mr. Earl served his country in the United States Air Force and the Army.
His passion was singing gospel music and going to church; he began singing as a child and sung with many groups. He was also a talented musician and could play several instruments. Mr. Earl was a member of the Crossroads Pentecostal Church of Scotts Hill in Scotts Hill, TN.
Mr. Wilbanks departed this life on March 9, 2016 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 25 Days. He is survived by two daughters, Tina Pickens and husband Michael of Enville, TN, Anna Price and husband Tommy of Raceland, LA; a grandson, Dewayne Pickens and fiancee Shelby of Henderson, TN; two great grandchildren, Peyton and Alyla Pickens; and a sister, Rebecca Wilbanks of Selmer, TN.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilbanks was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Wilbanks.
