Robert F. Wadley, 71, of Bolivar, died Monday, October 31, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.



The husband of Thomasine Penick Wadley, who survives, he was a factory sales representative for Federal Bearings. Mr. Wadley was born May 15, 1934 in Gibson County, son of the late Floyd A. and Rosie Jackson Wadley and spent his early years in Greenfield. He lived in Michigan for one year and made his home here since 1971. Mr. Wadley served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW and Bolivar First Baptist Church.



Services were 1 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Tim Sanderson officiating. Burial was in Cearley Cemetery near Toone.



In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and their wives, Van & Shelia Wadley of Atwood and Kent & Dedi Wadley of Bolivar; one sister, Johnnie Cochran of Lansing, Mich. and three grandchildren, Nichole, Michael and Dalton.
