Robert Snodgrass

Robert Snodgrasswas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 13, 1917 the son of the late Jessie Clifford and Lella Shaw Snodgrass.Mr. Snodgrass worked for Southern Central Paper Co. and Fisher Aircraft as an assembler and in management before retiring. After retiring he began farming. During his life he had lived in Savannah, Memphis, and Morris Chapel , Tennessee and Peachtree City, Georgia. He was of Baptist belief.Mr. Snodgrass departed this life on February 14, 2008 at the age of 90 years, 8 months, 1 day.He is survived by a son: Wayne Snodgrass and his wife Lawana of Millington, Tennessee; 2 daughters: JoAnn Sykes and her husband Gerald of Cordova, Tennessee, Mary Taylor and her husband Max of Corinth, Mississippi; 2 sisters: Edith Mundy of Peachtree City, Georgia and Hazel Foster of Wylie, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Arch Snodgrass; 1 granddaughter: Linda Russell.Graveside services were held Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Havanna Cemetery with Lloyd Blankenship officiating.
