Robert Ethridge Scott

Mr. Scott died Saturday, September 13 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Sue E. Sain Scott, who survives, he was a pipeline supervisor with TGT for over 40 years prior to retiring in 1986. He was born to Roy Kenneth Scott and Winnie Claire Ethridge Scott, both of whom preceded him in death and lived most of his life in Hardeman County. He served in the US Army Air Corps and was a graduate of Middleton High School Class of 1944. Mr. Scott was a member of Fourth Street Church of Christ in Selmer.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on July 17, 1944, survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Smith of Marshall, TX, Judy Scott Forsythe of Leesburg, VA and Paula Austin of Selmer; a son, Robert D. Scott of Franklin; eight grandchildren, David, Donald and Carey Scott, Rebecca and Kimberly Smith, Brandon and Kyrten Floyd and Summer Forsythe; and six great grandchildren.
