Robert Rossman
November 6, 1947 — October 27, 2006
He was born in Ellwood City, PA and grew up in Levit Town, PA the son of Eugene Egwin Rossman and the late Emma Lou McKinnis Rossman. He graduated High School in PA and entered the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. He went to Bucks County Technology School to be a printer. He was married to Doris Moore in 1985. He had worked as a printer at the Savannah Courier and then as a machine operator at Lee Jeans in Jackson. He then worked at Delta Faucet in the shipping department. He attended Cave Springs Baptist Church. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig Disease (ALS) two years ago. He was an excellent painter.
He is survived by his wife Doris Jean Helton Moore Rossman; two daughters Melissa Moore and Becky Moore; a grandson Sydney Moore all of Henderson; his father Eugene Rossman and a brother Gregory Rossman both of Savannah.
