BOBBY REDDIN

Memphis, TN: Robert Allen Reddin age 74 passed away March 15, 2025, at Mission Convalescent Nursing Home.

He was born September 11, 1950, in Jackson, the son of the late William Royce and Lessie Loraine Talley Reddin. He grew up in Pinson and was a member of Pinson Baptist Church. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1968. He then attended UTM and earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting.

He moved to Shelby County and worked as an accountant for Malone & Hyde Grocery Distributions for twenty years. He then began working for Autozone and worked until his retirement in 2016.

He was Baptist in faith and was always active in church and went on several mission trips.

He was an active alumnus of UTM and enjoyed attending sporting events, Alumni meetings and Fraternal meetings.

Mr. Reddin is survived by two brothers, William Eugene Reddin (Diane Lewis) of Humboldt and Anthony Wayne Reddin, Sr. (Lesia) of Pinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 20th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday.
