Graveside services for Robert Howard Ray, age 82, of Waynesboro, TN will be on Sunday, October 1 ,2006, 1:30 pm Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro with Cal Hampton officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the services.
Visitation will be on Saturday September 20 from 5:00—8:00 pm Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Robert Howard Ray, a native of Wayne County, TN died on Friday, September 29, 2006 at Wayne County Nursing Home, Waynesboro. Mr. Ray was born on January 13, 1924 to the late Grady Homer and Lettie Gertrude Simmons Ray. He was preceded in death by his brother; Homer Wesley Ray and sister; Wilton Ray Fuhrman.
Howard was a retired factory worker and served his country in the United States Army during World War II
