Robert Irvin Newland

Robert Irvin Newland was born January 9, 1925 in Lima, Ohio the son of the late Carl Wesley and Lydia Mae Newbert Newland.Mr. Newland was united in marriage to Alene Hampton on March 21, 1998. He was a retired Truck Driver and a member of the Childer's Hill Pentecostals Church in Shiloh, Tennessee. Mr. Newland departed this life on March 16, 2007 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 82 Years, 2 Months, 7 Days.He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Alene Hampton Newland of MIchie, Tennessee; eight children: Kim Dickerson of Michie, Tennessee, Nancy Kay of Ventura, California, Chris Donnell, Dana Conner, Robert Joseph Newland, Tony Newland, Randy Newland, and Mike Newland, all of Lima, Ohio; four step-children: Vicki Wilkerson of Shiloh, Tennessee, Linda Rossmairer of Nashville, Tennessee, Larry Vickery of Mobile, Alabama and Charles Vickery of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee; 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 6 Step Grandchildren, and 3 Step Great Grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Newland was preceded in death by two stepchildren: Jan Osborne and Buddy McCain; one sister, Geraldine Guyton; and two brothers, Richard and Michael Newland.
