Robert Bruce McKeen

Memorial services for Robert Bruce "Bob" McKeen, Jr. were held Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the McKeen family residence in Bolivar, TN, with Don Hammons officiating. Mr. McKeen passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2009 in Bolivar.He and his family moved to Hardeman County in 1959 from Youngstown, Ohio. He was the Chief Engineer at Harvell Kilgore in Toone, TN for 37 years. Many of his designs are still used at Kilgore today.Mr. McKeen was born April 10, 1919 to the late Mr. and Mra. Robert Bruce McKeen of McDonald, Kansas. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Eckman and a grandson, Joshua Robert McKeen. In addition to his wife of 56 years, Erma McKeen, he is survived by four sons, Pat and his wife Lauren, Bruce and his wife Teresa, Jack and his wife Sharon, all of Bolivar, and Mike and his wife Brenda of Lexington, TN.
