Robert Lewis (Bob) Hamilton, Jr. departed this life at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 years, 7 months, and 5 days.
He was born on January 30, 1938, the son of the late Robert Lewis Hamilton, Sr. and Juanita Kathleen Martin Hamilton. On September 3, 1999, he was united in marriage to Judy Marie Price who survives.
Bob was an electrician by trade. He worked for the National Electric Joint Apprenticeship in Sheffield, Alabama. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee where he served as an Elder, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He enjoyed drawing, puzzles, and woodworking, especially whittling, often carving animals.
In addition to his wife of 17 years, he is survived by two daughters: Laurie Ehrenfeld and her husband Russ of Cookeville,Tennessee; Margaret Hickey and her husband Brian of Castle Rock , Colorado;
one stepdaughter, Terra Whitman and her husband Joe of Baron Springs, Michigan;
three stepsons: Jeff Stanfill and his wife Debbie; Tim Stanfill and his wife Candy; Jody Stanfill and his wife Brittany, all of Savannah, Tennessee;
twelve grandchildren: Kaden Hickey; Ashley Lamberth; Brennen and Katie Ehrenfeld; Jeff, Jefftina, Jessie, Jacob, Chase, Marty, Cloe, and Lucas Stanfill;
and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother in law, Betty and Fred White.
