Robert Lewis Groves

Robert Lewis Groves was born February 9, 1930 in Ashland City, Tennessee. On August 6, 2009 he was united in marriage to Charlene Davis Robbins,who survives.Mr. Groves was an Engineer for the Savannah Utility Department. He was a member of the New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee.Mr. Groves departed this life on December 10, 2010 at the age of 80 years, 10 monhts, 1 day.Other than his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Patricia Hunter of Hendersonville, TN; two step-daughters, Rita Conaway and husband Eddy of Jackson, TN and Karan Holt and husband Randy of Florence, AL; two step-grandchildren, Brandon Conaway, Carrie Holt, and two sisters.In addition to his parents, Mr. Groves was preceded in death by one son, Robert Dale (Bubba) Groves.
