ROBERT W. GARRARD
Was born in Clifton, Tennessee on September 22, 1919 the son of the late William Alfred and Emma Harbin Garrard.
On March 7, 1953 he was united in marriage to the former Ruby Mae Miller, who preceded her husband in death on February 23, 1989.
Mr. Garrard was a retired machine operator for Precision Connecting Rod in Chicago, Illinois. He loved gardening.
Mr. Garrard departed this life on September 13, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 22 days.
He is survived by one daughter, Diane Nelson and her husband Burtis of Savannah, Tennessee.
One grandchild, Anita Lewis
2 great-grandchildren, Mya and Dylan Lewis
Other than his parents and his wife, Mr. Garrard was also preceded in death by 3 step-children, Betty Brown, James Barnett and William Berry, 2 sisters, Lillian Miller and Mabel Brown and one brother, Frank Garrard.
