Robert P. Ferrell

Robert P. Ferrellwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 5, 1923 the son of the late Kenny and Ada Umphrey Ferrell.On January 23, 1944 he was united in marriage to Carrie Katherine Shaw Ferrell, who survives.Mr. Ferrell was employed with Brown Shoe Company for 34 years. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a Union Shop Stewart for the United Factory Workers of America. He was a member of Soul's Harvest Church of God. Mr. Ferrell departed this life on Friday, April 11, 2008 at the age of 85 years, 6 days.In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters: Jane Ferrell and Janet Russell both of Savannah, Tennessee; 1 sister: Etta Motes; 7 grandchildren: Thomas Russell, Christopher Ferrell, Amanda Russell, Jonathon Ferrell, David Bain, Stephanie Bain; 3 great-grandchildren: Trevor Ferrell, Anslee Ferrell, Bailey Ferrell.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons: Lloyd Ferrell and Franklin Ferrell; 4 sisters and 7 brothers.
