Robert "Bob" Wayne Farster, of Huntersville, NC, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 8, 2006 at his residence.
Born August 31, 1951 in East Chicago, IN, to the late Chester Jerry and Beryl Prewitt Farster, Bob attended St. Mark Catholic Church, was a graduate of Teck Hammond High School and attended Purdue University. He was employed with Inland Steel Company. Bob was known and cared for by many throughout his life. His strength, humor, cooking and forgiving nature were only equaled by his compassion and love for his family, all of his 54 years.
Graveside services were held Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Clifft Cemetery with Father Wayne Arnold officiating.
Survivors include his wife of thirty five years, Elizabeth "Betty" Marie Kulan Farster; son, Andrew Robert Farster and his family, Cheryl, Sam and Emily of Huntersville, NC; daughter, Angela Marie Farster Kammler and her family, Dean and expected baby, of Charlotte, NC. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Jerry Frances Sitek.
