ROBERT ELLIOTT DENTON
Was born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 24, 1936 the son of Catherine Paulk and the late Jimmy Denton.
Mr. Denton was a towboat engineer for many years. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Mr. Denton departed this life on December 12, 2005 in Savannah at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 18 days.
Other than his mother, Catherine Paulk of Savannah, he is survived by his former wife, Gracie Denton of Savannah.
5 daughters, Dena Mclin, Angela Denton, Lisa Murphy, Vickey Veo and Glenda Sylvester, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
4 sons, Robert Denton, Jr., Glen Collum, Jr., Darryl Collum and Ronald Collum, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren
3 sisters, Glenda King of Savannah, Tennessee, Barbara Shepherd of Greenfield, Tennessee and Diana Bonee of Savannah, Tennessee.
Mr. Denton was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gena Denton and one son, Mark Denton.
