Robert L. Coy

Robert L. Coy was born December 12, 1953 in Red Bluff, CA the son of the late Leroy Monroe and Jean Barbara Sullivan Coy. He graduated from Red Bluff High School in 1972. He studied Psychology at Shasta College in Redding, CA. Robert lived in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved from there in 1987. He moved to Chewella, TN and was currently living in Selmer, TN.

Mr. Coy had worked as a former superintendent for a fire sprinkler installing company and was also a pipefitter. He was a non-practicing Catholic. He was a member of the Selmer Moose Lodge. Robert enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by a daughter, Crystal Marie Howell of Henderson, TN and her children Michael Howell and Bridgett Marie Fuller; two sons, Robert and Blain Coy; step daughter, Tia Marie Mealy; friend, Vicky Jo Hurst; step grandchildren: Ashley Nicole Kiestler (John Patterson) and their children, Brooklynn Grace and Paisley Faye Patterson, Christopher Allen Kiestler (Lorie) and thier child, Addison Lee Kiestler, Travis Dale Kiestler and his child Kinsley Marie Kiestler all of Ramer, TN; two sisters, Pat Noren and Estlen Seevers all of Las Vegas, NV; several other grandchildren; friend like a brother, Phillip Foster (Mary); friends, J.T. Stuttle (Cris) and Jeff Howell; extended friends, neices and nephews.

Services will be held on July 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Chewalla, Tennessee.
