Robert Bivens

ROBERT BIVENSwas born in Henderson County, Tennessee on June 2, 1938 the son of the late Franklin Roosevelt and Flora Holland Bivens.Mr. Bivens was store manager for McCrory Department Store for 20 years and Wal-Mart for 1 year. He was a member of Sardis Methodist Church. Mr. Bivens was a United States Air Force Veteran.He departed this life on February 16, 2008 at Decatur County General Hospital in Parsons, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 14 days.Mr. Bivens is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gail Colburn and her husband Roy of Newton, Georgiaone son, Robert Michael Bivens of Martin, Tennessee2 grandchildren, Crystal Jackson and Chris McClellan and one great-grandchild, Savannah Justiceone brother, Barney O. Bivens of Gallatin, TennesseeHe is also survived by the mother of his children, Janice Kelley BivensMr. Bivens was also preceded in death by one brother, James Bivens.
