Robert Owen Bevis

Robert Owen Beviswas born in Wayne County, Tennessee on November 16, 1930 the son of the late Jackson and Roxie Johnson Bevis.Mr. Bevis was a maintenance man for Sara Lee Corporation for 25 years. He loved to travel with his wife and was a member of Second Creek Church of Christ.Mr. Bevis departed this life on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the age of 78 years, 3 months, 10 days.Mr. Bevis is survived by his wife, Lois Bevis of Lutts, Tennessee; 4 daughters, Becky Franks, Vicki Wilkerson, Jeanette Phillips all of Lutts, Tennessee and Janice Hopkins of Stantonville, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Bevis was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a sister, Mergie Vickery; 5 brothers, Doyle Bevis, Wilburn Bevis, Ford Bevis, Arnold Bevis, and Dalton Bevis; a grandson, Justin Franks.
