Robert Joseph Anderson

Robert Joseph Johnson, 90, of Bolivar, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Cordova Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
He was born in Hardeman County, the son of the late John Presley and Daisy Pearl Patrick Anderson. He moved to Mississippi in the 1950's and returned to Bolivar in 2000. Mr. Anderson married the former Ellen Virginia Martin, who survives on December 28, 1934. He was a farm manager for many years and also served in the U.S. Navy's Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a Baptist in belief.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter and her husband, June Anderson Haley and Ewing of Cordova; two grandsons, Mark and Reid Haley; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two nieces, Phyllis Baker of Bolivar and Cynthia Hogan of Southaven, MS; and one nephew, Joe Greene of Collierville.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Anderson McSwain and brother, Johnny Anderson.
