RL Allen

RL Allen departed this life on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 12 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 20, 1930, the son of the late Ralph Lynn and Annie Seaton Allen. On April 6, 1952, he was united in marriage to Huberta Lambert, who survives.

RL retired from the Hardin County Highway Department as a truck driver. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Huberta Allen of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Donnie Allen and wife, Gladys, Kathy Stricklin and husband, Randy, Tim Allen and wife, Becky all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Daniel Allen, Chris Allen, Shirley Williams, Dokata Allen, Holly Landrum, Megan Allen, Ginda Stricklin, Miranda Rogers, JJ Stricklin, Kathryn Stricklin, and Katie Stricklin; great-grandchildren, Hannah Williams, Olivia Blanton, Brady Allen, Tori Rogers, Tristian Rogers, and Mason Landrum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Allen; brother, Leon Allen; sister, Claire Jean Dierdorf; and a grandson, Joel Allen.
