R.J. Keen

R.J. Keen was born January 10, 1927 in Enville, TN the son of the late Dovie Keen Busby.He was united in marriage to Lou Nell Pearson on August 7, 1943. Mrs. Keen preceded him in death in July of 2002.Mr. Keen served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II. He was a machine operator for Goodyear in Union City, TN and was a member of the Shiloh General Baptist Church in Bradford, Tennessee. After his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and watching baseball especially the St. Louis Cardinals.Mr. Keen departed this life on November 19, 2012 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 10 Months, 9 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Virginia Hicks and husband Arlie of Selmer, TN; four grandchildren, Rusty Hicks and wife Wendy of Selmer, TN, Ryan Hicks of Selmer, TN, Kevin Keen and wife Leigh Ann of Selmer, TN, Tiffany Lee and husband Bryan of Selmer, TN; 6 Great Grandchildren; host of extended family and friends.In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Keen was preceded in death by a son, James Neal Keen; a step brother, J.W. DePriest.
