Ricky Allan Martin

Ricky Allan Martin was born July 26, 1952 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Alfred Franklin and Gladys Duren Martin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by brothers, Ray and Ralph Martin; a sister, Carolyn Martin Beckaham. Mr. Martin died in an accident Tuesday, June 11, 2013 near his home in Waynesboro at the age of 60 Years, 10 Months, 16 Days. Mr. Martin, a 6 year U.S. Army veteran, was member of Ray\'s Chapel Baptist Church, and was employed at Wayne County Boot Camp. On June 5, 1981, he was married to Melody Moneyhun Martin.He is survived by his wife Melody Moneyhun Martin of Waynesboro, TN, two sons, Mickey Martin of Waynesboro, TN, Thomas Still of Killen, AL; a daughter, Jamie Staggs of Waynesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Breanna Staggs and Taylor Staggs; a brother, Randy Martin of Waynesboro, TN; nieces, nephews, and cousins.Services will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with James Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Griggs Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro in charge of arrangements.
