Rickie Ray

Rickie Thomas Ray was born on January 16, 1953 in New Caney, Texas, the son of the late Thomas Wilson and Lillie Bell Morgan Ray.

Rickie honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, where he retired as an Air-Craft Mechanic/Crew Chief with over thirty years of service, where he received Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, and numerous other Awards and Decorations. He was a handyman and enjoyed building and repairing anything. He was united in marriage to the late Mary Janice Ray.

Rickie Thomas Ray departed this life on August 4, 2024 in Hernando, Mississippi, at the age of 71 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Kelsey Ray Kimble and husband Ryan of College Station, Texas; brother, Dr. Adam Thomas Ray of Oregon; sister, Vina Brooks of Tuscumbia, Alabama; step daughter, Deborah Laws and grandchildren, Kelsey Elaine Kimble, Johnathon Adam Kimble, Raymond Laws, and Kerri Hager; and the children of Mark and his wife Keri, and Kelly Cincurak, Averi Cincurak, Landrey Cincurak, and Lauren Cincurak. 

In addition to his parents and wife, Rickie was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Edward Ray; daughter, Sabrina Ray; brothers, Tommie Ray, Leonard Ray, Larry Ray, Chester Ray, and Billy Ray; sisters, Martha Cox and Barbara Terry; and his first wife and the mother of his children, Terri Kay Williams Ray Baughman.
